Technical Fundamentals

Master API communicates over the HTTP protocol. The server address is https://reseller.forpsi.hu/masterapi/server.php. All requests are sent using the POST method.

Command Encoding

Requests and responses are encoded in JSON or YAML. The selected encoding is detected automatically by Master API.

The character encoding used is UTF-8. Although commands can also be sent in ISO-8859-2 or WINDOWS-1250 encoding when using YAML, we recommend using UTF-8 exclusively. Master API returns data using the same character encoding.

Authentication

Request authentication is handled using HTTP Basic access authentication. The login credentials are the same as those used to log in to the Domain Master application. It is recommended to generate a dedicated password specifically for Master API.

Credit Usage

Commands such as domain registration or renewal automatically deduct funds from your credit balance. If you do not have sufficient credit for an operation, an error response will be returned and the requested operation will not be performed. Therefore, it is advisable to regularly check your credit balance and increase it before it runs out.
