    ),
    "password-plain" => "!secret!password",
    "password-md5" => "",
    "password-crypt" => ""
));
?>

));

Field Description

  • name: must be set; max. 64 characters
  • ipv4: 0 to 3 IPv4 addresses
  • ipv6: 0 to 3 IPv6 addresses
  • password-plain: does not have to be set; plain text password; max. 50 characters; ASCII only
  • password-md5: does not have to be set; md5 password hash; /^[0-9a-f]{32}$/
  • password-crypt: does not have to be set; password in crypt format; /^[a-zA-Z0-9\/.]{13}$/

Notes

IP addresses should only be specified if the DNS server uses the .sk extension.

Exactly one of password-plain, password-md5, and password must be set. When using hashes (crypt or md5), only ASCII passwords should be hashed; otherwise authentication issues may occur.

Some field descriptions contain regular expressions between slashes (Perl-compatible). The field value must match the expression.
